What is a wireless network adapter?
I just got a MacBook Pro laptop last month because I am going to college this fall. I received a letter from my school saying that they are installing wireless internet in the residences and that all computers that connect to the campus wireless system must have a wireless network adapter that is compatible with one or more of the following Wi-Fi standards: a, b, g or n. The letter also says that without the adapter, you will not Wireless Internet access. HELP!
Do not worry, it's built into your laptop. A wireless network adapter only allows you to connect to a network wireless. Older laptops did not come with these built in.
